The angry toss of the phone becomes a contest in Finland



Admit it, we have all wanted to throw, smash, or otherwise let out our frustration on our phone. I have done it and I have to say it feels good. If you happen to live in or near Savonlinna then get the chance every year(at least for the last 13 year) to let out those “what won’t you just work” blues on your phone during the Mobile Phone Throwing World Championship This year 18-year old Ere Karjalainen took home the championship by throwing an old Nokia(which are probably pretty easy to find in their homeland) 101.46 meters; or just over 332 feet.  Christine Lund who organized the event say this is a new world record; though there is no confirmation on that.
