BlackBerry introduces the world to BlackBerry 10 in new video

Everyone love a comeback. And if any mobile OS is in need on one, it’s BlackBerry. They have been quickly losing market shares to competing mobile operating systems like iOS and Android. But the company is hoping to turn that around with BlackBerry 10. Check out the video below:

The keyboard is what interest me the most from this video. It looks to be a great way to handle predictive text. It should be noted that the phone shown in the video is the developer device; not what consumers will get once it launches. Specs for the developer unit will hopefully make their way into the retail version. Here is a list of some of those specs:

  • 4.2 inch touchscreen at a resolution of 1280 x 768
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • front facing camera
  • rear-facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash
  • NFC
  • microHDMI out
