The big kick-off to the holiday shopping season is almost here. Many of you will be looking great deals on cell phones. And many are hoping to find one sans contract. So I figured, why not make it just a little bit easier. Here are some of the great in-store Black Friday deals on no-contract phones!
If you are looking to get you hand on the first HTC phone to hit Virgin Mobile then you actually have opinions on where you can get this phone for a great price! Both Radio Shack and Best Buy will have HTC mini monster for $99.99. That’s 50% off the full retail price! Not a bad deal.
If you have seen my review of Virgin Mobile’s second Android phone then you know how much I like it. With it’s 3.2 inch screen, 3.2 mega pixel camera and stock Android 2.2, and consistent performance, what’s not to like? But the $49.99 price at Target(that is $100 off) may make you love this Android phone.
This one is for the frugal texter in you life. The LG 900G offers a nice QWERTY keyboard and the basic feature we look for in a phone. This isn’t a smartphone but at $19.99at Best Buy it is a smart deal.
Want a shrinking monthly bill but not a fan of iDEN or their slow data speeds? Then the Motorola Theory may be what you are looking for. It’s a QWERTY messenger running on Sprint’s 3G CDMA network; not iDEN. The Theory also have 2.4 inch screen, a 1.3 mega pixel camera, and Myriad web browser. You can get it at Target for $39.99.
This is the most expensive of my no-contract Black Friday deals. But it does have a 1GHz processor, 3.5 inch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3, front-facing camera for video chat, and a shrinking monthly bill. So you are getting your moneys worth. The Samsung Transform Ultra will be $114.99 at Best Buy.
