With the launch of their first prepaid smartphone AT&T is also making changes to their prepaid data plans. Now this may not be what some data heavy user are looking for but it is a really good thing for GoPhone customers who have been hoping for better data rates. Under the new data plan users can either go for a 10MB plans for $5, a 100MB plan for $15, and the new 500MB plan which will set you back $25. All of these will also give you unlimited access to AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots.  There is also a pay-per- use option which will cost you $0.01 per 5KB; which was previously $0.01 per 1KB. Now that is in addition to the prepaid smartphone plan which will cost you either $0.10 a minute or $2 a day; which will give you unlimited talk and text for that day.
