So word on the streets in the Samsung Intercept will be getting its updateon April 11th. Virgin Mobile has alerted users via text message that beginning April 11th the Android 2.2 update will begin its roll out on its first Android phone. This is great new for Intercept user who have been waiting since December when the Sprint version received its Froyo update for their phone to get a taste. Wondering what they update will offer you. Check out what the update will and won’t have over here. Also, check here for info from Virgin Mobile about the how the update will work. Here’s hoping this date does not change once again.

UPDATE: I received an email from Virgin Mobile. They stated that the update would be ongoing and should hopefully take a week to reach everyone. So if you don’t get it right off the bat remember that.
